Late Summer Wedding

An August wedding is a challenge for floral designers.  It's not quite fall; in fact, August is one of the hottest months in Mississippi.  We can successfully use some colors that look forward to the coming season, though a lighter shade is in order.

The beautiful features of Sacred Heart Church offer the perfect setting for parishioners' weddings.

 

 

 

Wedding Receptions

While most weddings feature floral arrangements in somewhat subdued colors, the reception is the place for bold color. 

 

Reception flowers should say, "Let's celebrate!"

 

 

Wedding Planning Season

June might be the month for weddings, but because so many couples get engaged at Christmas, January is the beginning of wedding planning season for many.  Without further preamble, I'd like to share some of my wedding and reception flowers. 

Remember to check the outside of the wedding and reception venue.  Those areas offer guests their first impression of your event, and they may need a bit of sprucing up, too.
